graphite, 18 x 24". drew this model from the same angle three days in a row. i enjoy drawing the same angle and image over again. each time i am more familiar with the image so i feel more advanced and there is less to figure out and more to just comfortably enjoy drawing. there is always the element of surprise to see how my drawing differs from the prior others of the same image. it is just a different version, not necessary better. in this three in a row, i think the first was my favorite for whatever reason. likely because i gave it the most focus and time. spending time on a drawing is very useful to sort out and learn what you are looking at but also the labor shows in the drawing, which i like.
